The Village of Liberty is centrally located in the Town of Liberty and is adjacent to New York Route 17 just off exit 100 and only 90 minutes from New York City. The Village of Liberty was incorporated on September 17, 1870 and is governed by an elected Mayor and a Board of Trustees. On our website you will find information regarding various departments including: access to our Village code, printable forms from our Clerk's Office and Building Department, minutes from our Board, Planning, and Zoning meetings, upcoming events and much more! Thank you for visiting our website.
We look forward to your visit to our Village!
● The Village is now accepting applications for anyone who would like to "Adopt-A-Street". This is a great way to give back to your community and to help keep Liberty looking clean. If you are interested in this program, please fill out the application found under the Village Clerk's section. Thank you to all those who have already adopted, including the Conklin Family, the Hadjstylianos Family, Milanna & Annika, Stephen Lavelle, Colleen Keaveney, and Phoenix Enterprises!
